High-Performance Mid-Tier Subwoofer Interconnect | Brisbane HiFi Audio Specialist
The Chord Company Clearway Analogue Subwoofer Cable is a high-performance subwoofer interconnect designed for precise, controlled low-frequency integration in two-channel hi-fi and home theatre systems.
Hand-built in Great Britain, the Clearway Subwoofer cable builds on Chord Company’s established subwoofer cable design with enhanced conductor geometry, FEP dielectric insulation, and advanced shielding. The result is a robust, carefully engineered connection between an AV receiver, preamplifier, or active crossover and a powered subwoofer.
Featuring Tuned ARAY conductor geometry, high-purity OFC conductors, dual-layer counter-wound foil shielding, and premium ChorAlloy™ plated VEE 3 RCA connectors, the Clearway Subwoofer cable provides reliable signal transmission across longer cable runs.
Key Features & Audio Engineering Highlights
-
Tuned ARAY Conductor Technology: Specialised conductor geometry is designed to provide accurate signal transmission and consistent low-frequency timing.
-
Low-Loss FEP Dielectric: Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene insulation provides a stable, low-loss dielectric environment around the conductors.
-
Dual-Layer Counter-Wound Foil Shielding: Twin foil shields help protect the signal from external mains hum, RFI, and EMI interference.
-
ChorAlloy™ Plated VEE 3 RCA Terminations: Premium RCA connectors provide reliable electrical contact and long-term durability.
-
Compression-Free Over-Moulded Strain Relief: Protects the cable termination from mechanical stress while maintaining internal cable geometry.
-
Subwoofer & LFE Integration: Suitable for connecting AV receiver LFE outputs, preamplifier sub-outs, and active crossover outputs to powered subwoofers.
-
Chord Company Lifetime Warranty: Backed by Chord Company's lifetime warranty against material and manufacturing defects.
