Our first offering in the new Oyster line-up is the venerable Rainier, which continues the Pearl’s legacy for smooth, natural sound reproduction. After years of development, we are proud to introduce an all-new integrated body and generator system that significantly reduces internal resonances. With the ability to change to the Olympia or Moonstone stylus allows for upgrades with out replacing the entire cartridge.

"I think Sumiko might have a hit on its hands. The Oyster Rainier offered a lovely, warm sound with a wide range of recordings, but could still kick up its heels as required. It handled warped records with aplomb, and LP surface noise was minimal, even from records I can’t get entirely clean."
