The Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-502S II is a high-performance dual-firing surround loudspeaker designed to create an immersive, spacious home theatre soundfield. The second-generation Reference Premiere model combines Klipsch’s Wide Dispersion Surround Technology (WDST) with dual hybrid Tractrix® horns and dual Cerametallic™ woofers for detailed, energetic surround reproduction.

The RP-502S II uses an angled dual-baffle configuration, with twin 1-inch Titanium LTS vented tweeters paired with expanded 90° × 90° hybrid Tractrix® horns. Dual 5.25-inch Spun-Copper Cerametallic™ woofers provide the low-frequency component of the surround presentation, with Faraday rings helping control driver distortion.

Its sealed acoustic-suspension enclosure and broad WDST dispersion make the RP-502S II particularly suited to side and rear surround positions where a diffuse, enveloping soundfield is preferred over tightly focused speaker localisation. Integrated rear keyhole mounts simplify wall installation in 5.1, 7.1, and immersive Dolby Atmos® systems.
