Like the Xs 300, this amplifier was developed through constant and thorough innovation. After years of SIT device experimentation, followed by deployment in Nelson's First Watt designs, circuit modification captured the unique tube-like sonic footprint of SITs from much higher-output MOSFET devices used in the Xs series. The result is unparalleled, fatigue-free listening enjoyment.

Features

Separate Dual Chassis:

Two separate chassis, one for each channel, to minimize electromagnetic noise interference. 

Class A Operation:

The amplifier operates in Class A, ensuring a high-quality audio experience with minimal distortion and a natural sound. 

Power Supply:

Features greatly enhanced storage capacitance, banks of redundantly parallel high-speed and soft recovery rectifiers, and improved high-frequency noise filters for stable power delivery. 

Noise Reduction:

Efforts have been made to reduce noise levels, including improved passive decoupling and lower power standby.

Features a high input impedance of 200 k-ohm balanced with negligible capacitance.
