Part of Audio Group Denmark’s 3rd-Generation (Gen 3) component lineup, the Ansuz Sparkz C3 belongs to the Copper Series—offering a significant performance leap over the entry-level Sparkz S3. Designed to plug into any unused AC wall outlet or open power distributor socket (such as the Ansuz Mainz8), the Sparkz C3 actively cancels mains-borne electrical noise and RF interference without restricting current flow to your audio equipment.
Constructed with a heavy-duty, resonance-damped Bakelite housing finished with a solid Copper end cap, the C3 incorporates active electronics and dither circuitry derived from Audio Group Denmark’s flagship D-TC Gold Signature architecture.
Key Features & Technological Innovations
6 Active Tesla Coils: Features six active, double-inverted counter-wound Tesla coils. When voltage spikes or high-frequency noise hit the AC power line, these active coils instantly trigger an anti-phase counter-surge to eliminate noise spikes.
3rd-Generation Analog Dither Technology: Employs active dither circuitry adapted from radar technology. By emitting low-level, modulated anti-phase pulses at specific frequencies, it helps stabilize the signal, expand soundstage transparency, and reveal micro-details.
Gold Anti-Aerial Resonance Coil (Gold AARC): Utilizes silver/gold-layered copper conductors wound in dual opposing spirals to absorb airborne RF noise that power lines and cables pick up like antennas.
Integrated Ansuz Zirconium Bar: Houses a solid internal zirconium rod that provides material damping and resonance control, eliminating microphonic vibrations inside the plug.
Full Cryogenic Treatment: Every metallic component and coil undergoes deep cryogenic freezing down to $-321^\circ\text{F}$ ($-196^\circ\text{C}$). This contracts the metal’s crystal lattice, increasing electrical conductivity by $6\text{–}8\%$.
Zero Series Impedance Impact: Plugs in parallel across the AC power grid, allowing it to suppress mains noise without choking current delivery or squishing dynamic headroom on power amplifiers.
